3 days Lake Mburo Safari, Lake Mburo Tour
Leave Kampala to Lake Mburo through Mbarara highway to visit Uganda’s smallest park which is exceptional for its attractive, soothingly sloping hills. As well as the open grassland basins, intermingled with brushwood, woodlands and rich wetlands. So the 3 Days Lake Mburo Safari involves the viewing of impalas, waterbucks, Cape buffalos, zebras and many different animal species.
Day 1 Arrive at Lake Mburo
Meet at your hotel and leave Kampala for Lake Mburo National Park. We shall have a stop at the Equator where you will perform a simple undertaking to experience a tropical balance, have a look at the traditional drums and crafts being made, and thereafter proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland and other ungulates. Bird viewing opportunities are excellent – for birders, this is one of the best places to find African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike.
Day 2: Game Drive and Salt Lick
Explore the park with through a morning game drive and encounter big hears of zebras, buffalo, elands and impalas along with a great variety of birds. Retreat and proceed for breakfast and rest as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise. Embark on an afternoon boat trip for possible encounter of water birds like the strange White winged Warbler, the Papyrus gonoleks, Bare-faced Go-away bird, Brown-faced lapwing and Carruther’s cisticolas. Have dine and sleep at your desired lodge.
Day 3: Onward Travel
After your breakfast, we can choose between having a guided nature walk in the park or game drive. Later, drive back to Kampala.

Lake Mburo is the best savanna Park in the country and is believed to be an extension of the Serengeti plains of Tanzania where visitors can meet with the Eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, and several acacia-associated birds.
